Welcome to my website!

I am a Lecturer of Environment and Society in the Institute at Brown for Environment and Society at Brown University. I am a human geographer and study human-environment relationships across space and scale. I draw on human geography, political ecology, and common-pool resource theory to examine how ocean policy is negotiated and created and how it impacts stakeholders and communities. Through my work, I am committed to fostering more just and effective oceans governance.

My research on large-scale oceans conservation focuses on the high seas and offshore Bermuda and Hawai‘i. Check out the research tab for information on these projects. If you’re interested in collaborating, please reach out!
